How Conversion rate work

Conversion rate = conversions ÷ clicks × 100. A 3% conversion rate means 3 out of every 100 referred visitors converted. Partnero tracks conversion rates at the program level and per individual affiliate, allowing direct comparison across partners. Conversion rate varies significantly by affiliate channel — email audiences typically convert at higher rates than social media traffic.

Why it matters for your program

Conversion rate is one of the most important indicators of affiliate quality and landing page effectiveness. A high-volume affiliate with a low conversion rate may be sending poorly-targeted traffic. A low-volume affiliate with a very high conversion rate deserves more attention and support — they may have growth potential.
